Refer to the data
sheets for coverage rates and re-coat times. The data sheets
reflect the maximum rates of coverage under perfect substrate
conditions i.e. smooth surface with no defects, no chip flakes, and also doesn't
include covering side walls. When estimating coverage assume the
80% rule. If the sheets say 350 feet per gallon it is best to plan
on (.80 x 350=~280). Coverage rates are correct but only at the
applied thickness listed on the sheets. YOU DON'T WANT TO BE SHORT
ON MATERIAL!!! Most of the materials can be applied with a high
quality 1/4" or 3/8" nap roller, mohair roller, or a squeegee.
Please refer to the Product Application section of the data sheet.
One major exception to the above rule is the products AD348
urethane. This product must be applied per data sheet due to
it's nature to create multiple "fish
eye" appearance's on
the surface after it dries, if it goes on thicker than the
suggested coverage rate. AD348 is a 3 component (non-skid agent
added) product versus a 2 part product. The third
component is HWS additive that is added to urethane's. Please read the data
sheet for detailed information on that product.
