Scroll down to purchase chip flakes.
Chip flake floors typically include a primer - 100% solids build coat and urethane top coat and the chips are added to the build coat. If a floor is slightly pitted or spalled, a heavy build of primer and/epoxy along with chip flakes can hide many or all imperfections while providing a long lasting showroom look floor.

Flakes are added to the wet epoxy just below the clear topcoat by using spiked shoes to walk out over the wet epoxy to broadcast/toss the chips. The chips can also be applied in small areas at a time as the floor is being applied. Choose from our assortment of pre-blends or create your own custom blend by ordering single colors.
Best way to calculate the amount of chips needed is to multiply the square footage by .01 or .02 for a light to medium coverage, .04 for a heavier coverage, and.05 to .075 for a very heavy coverage. The more chips the more your floor will have that faux granite look. The most common amount provides a medium/heavy broadcast look is .025 x sqft.
