AD Polymers understands that not every garage floor is the same and not every home owner or installer installs the same, and with the same tools. Our company and experienced installers put together our spread rates and order amounts to guarantee complete coverage of your floor in a manner that exceeds industry standards’ minimal-amounts and thicknesses. Because of the order sizes there may be instances where you may have a small amount left in the mixing pail and not recommended to apply. This is more often the cases with non-high solids materials such as top coats and primers, where applying too heavy is not recommended.
AD Polymers also added components to this website to guarantee a successful installation along with proper coverage as long as the instructions are followed. These instructions are of sample installations but are only meant to be a representation due to substrate conditions and installer experiences. There are many ways to install an epoxy floor and many instructions found on the web may be of a proper installation, but do to the differences in spread rates and materials be careful following them exactly. Some of these kits and suggested spread rates found on competitor websites and stores require the use of a window squeegee to achieve full coverage.
We purchased many of these kits and our professional installers installed them on various slab conditions. Some instances we had a hard time stretching the material far enough to fully cover the surface and, while we were painting the floor with those kits, could not understand stand the purpose of such a low build. AD Polymers cannot guarantee our kits to be less expensive than those kits we tested, but we can guarantee you will get more material for a lesser comparative price if they were to be offered by those suppliers and manufacturers. See a competitor system and price; we will do our best to put together a comparative system and price match for you. Some comparisons are not possible do to the gross differences in available side-by-side materials offered by either AD Polymers or the competitor.
