Primers
Primers used in thin-mil systems work the same for high build
applications. The primer coat is to maximize adhesion and help
prevent
air bubbles.
AD5 is a water-based epoxy with a mixed VOC of 1.01 pounds per
gallon, and emits no offensive odors. It is an ideal primer for a
thin-mil system where VOC is an issue.
AD134 is a solvent-based
epoxy primer that is a cost-effective, high-quality primer for a
system where VOC is not an issue. AD144 is the clear version of this
product. Most popular primer and often used for a cost
effective thin build system. Two coats of AD134 then top
coated with AD311.
AD0LVP is designed for use in situations where more than a typical
3-4 mils is needed for a primer coat. This product is a 93% solids
epoxy, and can be applied at 6-12 mils. Ideal primer for shot
blasted/BlasTrac floors.
**AD0LVP is NOT UV-color stable, and we strongly recommend top
coating this product with a pigmented urethane**
Intermediate/Build or Stand-Alone Coat (AD77 for a
one coat high build coating - very high performing.)
AD77 is one of our best-selling products – a 100% solids epoxy
build coats. This product has excellent compressive strength and impact
resistance. AD77 can be top coated with AD311 for additional color
stability & chemical resistance.
AD100 is a 100% solids epoxy intermediate coat designed to be used
in situations where the floor is going to be top coated with a
color-coordinated urethane. This product will discolor under UV
light if not top coated. AD100’s upside is the cost differential in
comparison to other 100% solids epoxies that are more UV-resistant.
AD0HV - Used if no topcoat being used. This product is similar
to AD77 but formulated specifically for a single color no topcoat
floor.
Top Coats-Epoxy and Urethane
Clear Epoxy Topcoat - For a
heavy smooth finish.
AD127MUV is our best-selling UV stable 100% solids clear epoxy.
AD127MUV exhibits excellent wear characteristics, clarity, ease of
use, and UV stability is the benchmark UV rating in the industry.
(New formula in 2007) This product can be top coated with AD311 to
maximize UV resistance and wear. - (This is the recommended top coat
system for a high build floor.)
AD311 is a top-of-the-line,
solvent-based, two-component, aliphatic urethane topcoat. This
product exhibits excellent UV stability, abrasion resistance,
chemical resistance, and flexibility. AD311 can be used in many
facilities, including warehouses, manufacturing facilities, aircraft
hangars, auto service centers, and much more.
AD348 High Performance Urethane is a three component aliphatic
urethane floor finish that exhibits excellent characteristics for
abrasion resistance, chemical resistance, flexibility, weathering and
UV stability. Recommended for auto service centers, warehouses,
computer rooms, laboratories, aircraft hangers, cafeterias, indoor or
outdoor service and chemical exposure areas. This product must
go on at recommended thickness to prevent
fish eyes.
AD339
- AD339 is a two component
100% solids polyaspartic aliphatic urethane seamless binder for
broadcast systems. This material can be used with dried colored sand
mixtures to provide an infinite array of color schemes or patterns.
AD339 has excellent chemical resistance, hardness, abrasion
resistance, UV stability and has an excellent clear gardner color.
However, the outstanding feature of this product is its
exceptionally quick tack free time of around 1-2 hours for foot
traffic while providing the applicator about a 15-20 min. pot life to
work with the material.
AD20 is a water-based aliphatic urethane topcoat designed to provide
excellent abrasion resistance without the typical odors associated
with an aliphatic urethane. This product also has an extremely long
pot life, and a lightning-fast cure time. At 70 degrees F, the floor
can generally be opened to foot traffic in 3-4 hours. AD20 is not
recommended for heavy traffic areas.
