Mortar Coving Epoxy - Slurry Patch Resurfacer

Epoxy Mortar is a heavy duty, troweled floor topping that can be used to patch or resurface concrete, metal and wood floors. Epoxy Mortar is composed of a unique blend of aggregates and polymer resins. It offers superior durability and resistance to heavy traffic. When applied at 1/4 inch thickness over concrete, it has higher impact and abrasion resistance than a six inch concrete slab. Epoxy Mortar also withstands the abuse of a wide range of chemicals, acids, alkalis, fatty greases, salts and solvents.

Epoxy Mortar can be troweled directly onto the floor without prior application of a bonding agent. Epoxy Mortar can also be used to repair holes and complete other patch jobs.

 
 

Mortar systems do not require a urethane or epoxy topcoat but AD Polymers highly recommends AD311 or AD348 if a low odor urethane is needed.  For epoxy top coat AD127MUV is the only recommended product.

Mortar Formulations

AD1 is a 3-component cove base formulation designed for ease of use when installing a cove base around the edges of a room. AD1 is usually applied with a marginal trowel or other cove base application tool.

AD010 is our best-selling epoxy mortar system. AD010 provides excellent wear, abrasion, and bond characteristics for heavy traffic areas.

Resurfacer - Slurry mixture

AD105- is a three component 100% solids epoxy mortar designed for applications where a more flexible formulation is needed. Recommended for light traffic areas, general patching and expansion joints in conjunction with saw cutting.
